Sam is also a big Man United fan and really enjoys presenting for MUTV. Alongside reporting live on Match Days he also hosts live debate football show Kicking Off, where he is joined in the studio by a former footballer such as Wes Brown.
He is also experienced at presenting live events. He’s hosted a range of international music Festivals including The Flying Dutch Festival – a multi-city electronic festival set across Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam and Amsterdam Music Festival – a presentation of the top 100 DJs performing to an arena of 40,000 fans plus streamed live online to over a 1 million people.
Equipped with a Masters Degree in Journalism from the University of Winchester and an IQ that would qualify him for Mensa, Sam secured a job with ITN covering breaking stories from the death of Steve Jobs to interviewing Steven Spielberg and George Clooney. His love of live presenting helped him present Use Your Voice Live– an online campaign to encourage young people to vote in the last election.
