Daisy Brunsdon

Showreel

Daisy’s woodworking skills and passion for all things ‘hands on’ has seen her cutting her teeth in the 'man’s world' of joinery. A businesswoman too, she and her friend Andrew set up their very own furniture-making company called 'Lula James', which sources local and sustainable materials to craft bespoke, quality furniture.

Daisy’s talent for woodwork and upholstery, led her to join the cast of BBC2’s 'Saved & Remade' as the resident woodworking specialist. On the show, she’s trusted to re-imagine, remake and repurpose the contributors’ most sentimental items, which enabled Daisy to showcase her incredible talents on screen.

She’s previously spent time with Crisis charity, as a volunteer teaching assistant in carpentry classes, gained experience at Oxford University’s invitation only workshop (the first ever woman to attend) and spent time honing her skills at the prestigious Lord Snowdon Summer School – one of eight students to be awarded a place...

She’s happiest when unveiling restored furniture to delighted owners or busy in the workshop, and enjoys being a champion for young women-makers in the process.
