Claudia-Liza is an experienced TV News Presenter and Journalist and is the face of 5 News Tonight, proudly being the first black lead-anchor to present the daily show.
From conducting live interviews with high-profile politicians and reporting ground-breaking stories, her versatility sees her equally as comfortable interviewing the biggest names in showbiz; Naomi Campbell and Sir Ian McKellen to name a few.
She has also guest hosted Channel 5’s topical debate show ‘Jeremy Vine’ where Claudia-Liza enjoys leading heated debates and discussions on a variety of newsworthy issues.
Before joining 5 News, she was a regular face at Sky News; presenting many of their daily shows including their flagship breakfast show Sunrise. And before this was the face of BBC3’s 60 Seconds News.

Claudia-Liza was born and raised in London by her Ghanaian mother. She studied a History & Journalism degree at Queen Mary University of London and City University, followed by a Master’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism from Goldsmiths University. She says her working-class background has made her a strong advocate for social mobility; she mentors young people, supporting their university applications and offers advice to those wanting to pursue broadcast journalism.
