Described by Glamour Magazine as “the voice of Vera Duckworth with the looks of Naomi Campbell”, TV presenter and social media influencer AJ Odudu was born and raised in Blackburn to Nigerian parents. As one of 8 siblings and an English and Politics University graduate, AJ is well accustomed to articulately making herself heard which lends well to her forceful and incredibly humorous presence on screen.
Most recently AJ featured in her very own one off C4 documentary, Manhunting with My Mum which saw her jetting off to her families native Nigeria. With one aim, to find herself a man! AJ is joined by her encouraging mother Florence, who wants to see 30 year old daughter AJ find Mr Right.
She currently hosts 4Music’s Trending Live, has appeared on ITV’s This Morning and can be heard on Boys Don’t Cry podcast with Russel Kane. She has also presented for major brands such as Stylist & Adidas. ..read more
A qualified fitness instructor and nutritionist, AJ has a highly popular presence on social media, working with major brands such as L’Oreal, New Balance, Womens Health, Very, Nike and ASOS on fun, engaging campaigns. She has also hosted her own health & wellness events and is a Health ambassador for Superdrug.
An established and talented DJ, AJ has spun the decks for Ibiza Rocks 10th birthday in London, Century Members Club for London Men’s Collection and warmed up for world famous DJ, Oliver Heldens at Sushi Samba. She has most recently DJ’d in Miami night club SET and Velsoir LCM party at Lights of Soho for Ciroc.
AJ cut her live teeth fronting BBC Switch Live from the Hammersmith Apollo on BBC One and hosting the red carpet coverage at the MOBO Awards for MTV. She then went on to report live from the Isle of Wight Festival alongside Jo Whiley and Zoe Ball for Sky Arts and so, was well set up to front Channel 5’s Big Brother’s Bit on the Side with Rylan Clark and it’s sister show Big Brother’s Bit on the Psyche collaborating with Iain Lee.
