Biography
Jasmine Harman is best known for being the face of Channel 4’s award-winning ‘A Place in the Sun’. The show is currently in it’s 26th year on air with Jasmine serving as it’s longest standing original presenter! A staple for Channel 4, the show is also broadcast in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and South Africa.
Having gown up in Hackney and lived in London most of her life – Jasmine found her own place in the sun in 2025 when the family moved to Spain and decided to take on the challenge of renovating their own home! Jasmines latest show ‘Jasmine Harman’s Renovation In The Sun’ follows Jasmine, hammer in hand, and her family as they take the plunge to purchase and renovate a rundown Spanish villa. The show was a big hit for Channel 4, and is currently filming for its second series.
Balancing family life with a busy filming schedule – Jasmine is well-loved not just for her professional insight in helping others find their dream home, but also for her signature warmth and authenticity. A poignant example of this is her deeply personal documentary for BBC One called ‘My Hoarder Mum and Me’, which follows her family’s attempts to overcome her mother’s Compulsive Hoarding Disorder. This ground-breaking film opened the world’s eyes to the symptoms of hoarding, leading to the TV series – ‘Britain’s Biggest Hoarders’ on BBC One. It also inspired Jasmine to set up her own forum ‘Hoarding Support’, to provide free information and support to those who hoard and their loved ones.
Before her career in TV, Jasmine worked in the health industry and remains passionate about health and beauty; she’s a qualified fitness instructor, enjoys boxercise and skiing, and practices several holistic therapies. As a true animal lover – Jasmine has several pets including her dog, Astro, and Cat, Hazel. She’s a proud Vegan, PETA Award winner and Veganuary ambassador.
